September 2020 Here we are in the month of September! Spring is around the corner and many of our beautiful Western Cape flowers have opened their pretty little faces in appreciation of the increasing warmth of the sun. Covid numbers are coming down, we are in Phase 2 and theatres can host live shows for under 50 people. The scene is still under immense pressure but at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and it feels a bit more in reach.
Iluminar Productions is however only looking at launching new projects in 2021. We are busy preparing some exciting projects for the coming year and look forward to making the necessary announcements when the time is right! Please take note that our #ReachTheSky fundraising campaign is coming to an end on the 4th of September. Sadly, support has not been as expected. Writing, recording, and filming of this song was a lot of fun and gave all the participating musicians a sense of purpose during an exceedingly difficult time.
